Local non-profitsSee our gatherings around San Antonio's local non-profits.
During the national Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, we hosted a Banquet Table Meal in the middle of campus that served a free, warm meal to 140 students and also served as a food drive for the on-campus food pantry for students, The Roadrunner Pantry.
An Open Mic Night was hosted on campus with all performances interpreted in ASL so that the deaf and hearing could enjoy a night of good music and company together. Aid the Silent advocates for the deaf with education, hearing aid resources, and community.
College students love thrift shopping. Revolution Thrift is a local non-profit who gives 100% of its proceeds from thrift sales each month to other local non-profits. To gather around them, we hosted a thrift store in the middle of campus and gave them 100% of the proceeds.
This year, The Banquet Table Meal fed 150 students during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week and donated nearly 800lbs of food items to the on-campus food pantry for students and staff, The Roadrunner Pantry.
M.A.D. House Domain uses creative arts to foster healing, educate, and empower. To honor them, we hosted a Water Color Therapy day on campus. Therapeutic prompts were written on sticky notes to help students begin to process and express themselves.
Revolution Thrift is a local non-profit who gives 100% of its proceeds from thrift sales each month to other local non-profits. To gather around them, we hosted a thrift store in the middle of campus and gave them 100% of the proceeds, over $1,200!

become an ambassador
This generation of college students truly cares about social justice but are often unaware of the local nonprofits that are moving social justice forward. Give $100/month or a one-time gift of $1,200, and become an Ambassador of The Banquet Table. Through your cheering, praying, and giving, we are able to create gatherings around local nonprofits at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
