The Banquet Table creates gatherings at UTSA around coffee & local non-profits. Every week, The Banquet Table gives out free coffee on campus to tell the story of a local non-profit & to invite them to a gathering we create at the end of the month around their mission. Here are ways you can gather with us:
- Free Coffee, Thursdays 10am-1pm in the Central Plaza
- Become a Student Ambassador & help us tell the stories of local nonprofits
- Have The Banquet Table at your next gathering. All proceeds from our mobile coffee help fund our on-campus gatherings around coffee & local non-profits.
- Become an Ambassador of The Banquet Table by giving monthly at $100 or one-time at $1,200.
We Believe In gathering around coffee & local non-profits
Each month, we highlight one local non-profit and host a free gathering in their honor on The University of Texas at San Antonio’s campus. Each week, we give out free coffee on campus to tell their story and to invite students to our gathering that honors their mission and tells their story.
The Roadrunner pantry
During the national Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, we hosted a Banquet Table Meal in the middle of campus that served a free, warm meal to 140 students and also served as a food drive for the on-campus food pantry for students, The Roadrunner Pantry.
Aid the Silent
An Open Mic Night was hosted on campus with all performances interpreted in ASL so that the deaf and hearing could enjoy a night of good music and company together. Aid the Silent advocates for the deaf with education, hearing aid resources, and community.
Revolution thrift
College students love thrift shopping. Revolution Thrift is a local non-profit who gives 100% of its proceeds from thrift sales each month to other local non-profits. To gather around them, we hosted a thrift store in the middle of campus and gave them 100% of the proceeds.

Join us on the first day of Fall, Saturday, September 23rd at Eisenhower Park for a Free Festival + Fall Market in honor of local nonprofit & small, local businesses. 8:00am-1:00pm.
